INTRODUTION

Takumu has been a member of Sanfrecce Hiroshima since his junior youth years, and he was promoted to the senior team from the youth team in 2018. Following his promotion to the senior team, he spent three years on loan at Ehime FC in J2 to gain valuable game experience. 
After returning to Hiroshima in 2022, Takumu became a key player for the team. In 2023, he notably featured in more than 30 games and earned his first call-up to the Japan national team.
As a dynamic midfielder who excels both offensively and defensively, Takumu possesses a wide shooting range and consistently aims to score with his powerful left-foot. Despite playing in a shadow position during his time at Ehime FC, he showcased his ability to both create scoring opportunities and find the back of the net, scoring eight goals in a 2021season.
Takumu possesses the stamina to run for the full 90 minutes, and his physicality enables him to win duals and contribute to solid defensive play.
