Atsushi Kawata is a great finisher with excellent work rate and vibrant dribbling.
Osaka born Atsushi spent the amateur career in his home town.
After graduation from Hannan University, He joined Albirex Niigata Singapore in 2015. In the following season, he was awarded the player of the year of Singapore league.
In 2017, Atsushi moved to Albirex Niigata, made wonderful debut against Consadore Sapporo in September, with scoring double.
Atsushi moved to Tokushima Vortis in 2019, and contributed to the club winning J2 title and being promoted to J1 league.
He has powerful dribbling skill and great finishing quality on both feet, and can score game-winning goals.
He also has incredible stamina which enables him to be commited to high-pressing and contribute to a team in both attacking and defensive parts of game.
