A graduate of the JFA Academy Fukushima U-18, then Uenaka joined V.Varen Nagasaki in 2020.
He played only two games in his rookie season, but has been a regular since his second season in 2021.
His presence has been steadily increasing, as he scored a hat-trick in the match that he scored the first J.league goal against Montedio Yamagata.
Uenaka is an extremely powerful, fast, and technical player, with excellent movement, as well as being a composed finisher. Those sorts of ability making him a striker with many scoring patterns.
He also highly regarded for his ball retention ability, which makes him a target man in front.
