INTRODUTION

After graduating from Matsue Nihon University High School (currently Rissho University Shonan High School), he entered Nihon University but left during his third year to pursue a professional career.
Armed with top-class speed among Japanese players, he excelled as a forward and was selected for the J.League Best Eleven in 1996.
He also played for the Japan National Team and gained national attention when he scored the decisive goal in the 1997 FIFA World Cup qualifiers, leading Japan to its first-ever World Cup appearance.
Following stints with Vissel Kobe and in the Hong Kong League, he signed with Gainare Tottori of the Japan Football League (JFL at the time) in August 2009 and contributed to the club’s promotion to the J.League in the 2010 season.
After retiring at the end of the 2013 season, he was appointed General Manager of Gainare Tottori, a role he held for 11 years.
Beginning with the 2025 season, he assumed dual positions as Head of Business Operations at Nankatsu SC and Reds Brand Ambassador for Urawa Reds.
