We would like to announce that Takumu Kawamura has joined Admiral Bundesliga, FC Red Bull Salzburg from Sanfrecce Hiroshima.
Takumu’s comment for Sanfrecce Hiroshima
“I am pleased to announce that I am joining FC Red Bull Salzburg.
I was initially worried about leaving the team at this time, but I am grateful to Coach Skibbe, the club, the staff, and my teammates for respecting and accepting my desire for a new challenge as a football player.
The club has helped me grow immensely, not only in football but also as a person, over the past 10 years since I was in school.
It has been my dream since I was a little boy to wear the uniform of this club and win a title, and I thought achieving this would be the best way to repay the club.
Last year, for the first time in my career, I played a full season. However, my desire to contribute to the team's victory and play a significant role did not align with my performance, making it a difficult season for me.
When I received an offer from FC Red Bull Salzburg, I decided to take on the challenge of a new world, believing it was my last chance due to my age.
After three and a half years of playing for the top team, I still have much to accomplish at this club.
I aim to grow even more overseas and perform well enough to receive another offer from Sanfrecce Hiroshima as a player.
As someone who has worn this club's uniform and fought alongside you all, I hope you will continue to support me in any way you can.
