We would like to announce that Aria Jasuru Hasegawa has made the decision to retire from professional football at the end of this season.
Aria's comment
"With the conclusion of the 2024 season, I have decided to retire from professional football. My career began in 2007 with Yokohama F. Marinos, and I have had the privilege of playing for nine clubs, including FC Tokyo, Cerezo Osaka, Real Zaragoza in Spain, Shonan Bellmare, Omiya Ardija, Nagoya Grampus, FC Machida Zelvia, and Gainare Tottori.
I’ve been able to continue my career for so long thanks to the many people I've met through football and the countless teammates and local communities that have supported me. I am deeply grateful—these past 18 years have been a priceless treasure to me.
Even during the half-year I spent waiting without a team, I never gave up on football thanks to SHIBUYA CITY FC, my family, and fans who stood by me no matter what. I owe so much to Gainare Tottori for giving me another chance to play. I remember the overwhelming joy I felt to be back on the field.
We have three league matches remaining, two of which are at home. I would love for you to come to the stadium to support the team. Let’s make it to the playoffs together!
And finally, it would mean a lot to me if you came to see my last games. I hope to see you all at the stadium soon."
