We would like to announce that Takeshi Kanamori has joined A-league, Melbourne City from Avispa Fukuoka.
Takeshi’s comment for Avispa Fukuoka
“I have decided to leave Avispa Fukuoka and transfer to Melbourne City FC in Australia’s A-League. First and foremost, I want to express my sincere gratitude to the club for always standing by me during this process—listening to me with an open heart and supporting my dream and ambition to play overseas. Avispa Fukuoka, and the city of Fukuoka itself, truly mean everything to me—they are my life. To my teammates who’ve fought alongside me, the staff, our sponsor companies who continue to support the team, and most importantly, to all the fans and supporters who have always shown unwavering love—thank you from the bottom of my heart. This decision is a major challenge I’ve taken on in order to grow further as a player and as a person. At Melbourne City FC, a fantastic club, I’ll give everything I’ve got to gain new experiences and return as an even stronger version of myself—with good news to share. Please continue to support Avispa Fukuoka with the same love as always—and if you can, please keep supporting me, Takeshi Kanamori, as well. Until we meet again—off I go!"
