We would like to announce that Ryunosuke Sato has joined La Liga, Valencia CF from FC Tokyo.
Ryunosuke’s comment for  FC Tokyo
“I’m glad to announce that I have decided to join Valencia CF. From the FC Tokyo Soccer School Advanced Class to spending nearly ten years with FC Tokyo, it has been an incredible honor to grow through this club and fulfill my dream of playing professionally for the team. My loan spell at Fagiano Okayama was a turning point in my career. Returning to FC Tokyo afterward, these past six months have been truly special. The support and expectations of the fans gave me the strength to perform, and the experience and confidence I gained during this period gave me the courage to take on a new challenge overseas. I am incredibly proud to be taking this next step from FC Tokyo to the world. I hope that my journey can, in some way, inspire the next generation of players and contribute to the future of the club that has nurtured me since my academy days. Playing in La Liga has been my dream ever since I was a child. I’m truly grateful for the opportunity to challenge myself on that stage, and I’m excited for everything that lies ahead. To all the coaches, managers, staff, teammates, my family, and especially the fans who have supported me so passionately throughout my journey—thank you from the bottom of my heart. I believe the greatest way I can repay FC Tokyo and everyone who has supported me is by succeeding on the world stage as a player who came through this club’s academy.
