We would like to announce that Masahito Onoda has joined IWATE GRULLA MORIOKA from Montedio Yamagata.

Masahito's comments

"First of all, I'd like to say thnk you to every member of Montedio Yamagata, then I want to apologize to make such an announcement just one week before the opening game of this season. Last year, I was very happy to get an opportunity to play for Yamagata. I did my best to guide this club to the J1 stage. However, I couldn't help the club much because I was not able to have the playing time much than I expected. Even in that situation, I could finish the last season safely. I believe that I couldn’t do this without the players, coaches, and staffs that I played with, and the fans who supported me all the time. The division in which we will fight is different, but please keep supporting me this season as well. Lastly, I was so proud of myself playing for such a great club, Montedio Yamagata . Thank you."

Please call me Masa or Ono. First of all, I would like to express my gratitude to IWATE GRULLA MORIOKA’s members for the new environment and opportunities for new challenges. It's my first time playing in the J3 division, but I believe that I can grow up with my teammates without any hesitations, and I’d like to lead this club to win the J3 league and promoting J2 without any injury this season. Lastly, I’m looking forward to meeting our fans at the stadium as soon as possible, and I also hope we could share the great moment at the stadium together."
