INTRODUTION

Yuta Matsumura is an attacking player with pace and technique who can drive the ball forward.

He mainly plays on the side, and can beat a defender going straight on the side and deliver a cross to create a scoring chance and also is capable of cutting in and becoming a direct goal threat.

Yuta also has greate quaity in a run in behind and he can contribute to his team with great shots and crosses produced by his both feet.

He is from a prestigious school, Shizuoka Gakuen High School, and made a great contribution to the team winning the first national title in 24 years in the 98th All Japan High School Soccer Tournament.

Joined Kashima Antlers in 2020 and in August scored his first goal as a professional against Shizimu at YBC Levain Cup group stage.

He also has been selected for various national teams at the youth level, and played for U18 Japan National team in the Under-19s international competition "Copa del Atlantico" scoring a goal against Serbia.

A promising wide midfielder who is aiming to play for 2024 Paris Olympics.
