INTRODUTION

Yuma Funabashi is a versatile defender who can play any position in backline. 

With great agility, Yuma makes a powerful dribbling forward and overlap runs to actively join and help attacking side of a game, and he can provide a cross or cut in and take a shot from his both feet.

He is also good at defending in duel, and can cover a space behind backline with his pace.

In 2020, he joined Y.S.C.C. Yokohama after graduated from Edogawa University.

Although it was his first year, he made 30 league match appearances and started in 20 matches.
In 2022, he moved to AC Nagano Parciero, where he has been playing as a key player in the defence line. In the 2023 season, he played in 34 matches in J3, delivering an impressive performance with 5 goals. Recognizing his outstanding contribution from the previous season, he completed a permanent transfer to J2's Thespakusatsu Gunma for the 2024 season.
