INTRODUTION

Ryuya Ohata is a centre-back defender with great athletic ability that enables him to show his strength in 1v1 defending and ariel duels.

He also has the quality to play precise short and long passes with both feet from the back-line. He can also score goals from set-pieces.

Ryuya joined Nippon Sport Science University after graduated from one of the most prestigious high school football team in Japan.

In 2020, he joined Tegevajaro Miyazaki which was playing in Japan Football League (4th division) back then, and the club got promoted to J3 from 2021 season. He joined Kataller Toyama in 2022 on a permanent deal. 

He became one of the key players in the team having played 17 games and contributing to the club fighting for the title from their first year in J3.
