INTRODUTION

Daichi was raised in the youth academy of Cerezo Osaka and was allowed to train under professional conditions as an U-18 player in 2012 while also being registered for the top team where he was fully promoted to in 2013.
He didn’t have many chances to show his talents in his first pro year, but finally debuted in his second year with the topteam against Kashiwa Reysol.
In 2015, in seek of further development opportunities, Daichi moved on to Ehime FC on loan where he turned into one of the team’s key players right after joining it.
In July 2015, his positive development earned him a come-back with Cerezo Osaka.
Four years later, he joined Montedio Yamagata on loan, but returned to Cerezo from 2020 season. In 2021, he was transferred to Gainare Tottori on loan, and he joined JFL's club, Nankatsu SC in 2022.
Daichi Akiyama is an up-and-coming central midfielder gifted with a strong stamina, clever positioning, fine technique and a good instinct for effective interceptions.
He has already played for various Japanese youth national teams.
