INTRODUTION
Born on August 7, 2001 in Chiba, Japan. In junior high school, he attended Sawara Junior High School in Katori City.
After attneding Funabashi Municipal Funabashi High School, in his junior year, he became the second active high school student in history since Kenzo Shirai to represent Japan at the 2019 World Gymnastics Championships, winning the bronze medal. After the World Championships, he won the Individual All-Around Super-final. At Juntendo University, he won the All-Japan Gymnastics Individual All-Around Championships and the NHK Cup Gymnastics Championships Individual All-Around for the first time, and was selected to represent Japan in gymnastics at the Tokyo Olympics.
In 2021, he won the bar final of the All-Japan Gymnastics Championships, beating out gymnastics legend Kohei Uchimura with a series of successful breakaway moves. In the finals, he won a silver medal in men's gymnastics team, a gold medal in men's individual all-around, and a gold medal on uneven bars.
At the 2022 All-Japan Gymnastics Individual All-Around Championships, he won again with a convincing victory by three points over the second-place finisher, followed by the NHK Cup title, and at the 2022 World Gymnastics Championships in Liverpool, he won the individual all-around gold medal and was recognized worldwide as a true world champion. Ace of the gymnastics world, Japan is the pride of the world.
