INTRODUTION

Kento Misao is an up-and-coming central midfielder with excellent technique, physical strength and strong mentality.

He is a playmaker equipped with ability to win the ball and launch an attack through his excellent skills and great vision.

Kento signed with TOKYO VERDY's top team in 2015 after growing up at TOKYO VERDY U-15 and U-18 team.

He made his debut against CEREZO OSAKA, the opening match of the 2015 season, and became a crucial player for the club soon after.

In 2016, he moved to one of the biggest clubs in J-league, KASHIMA ANTLERS, and hugely contributed to the club winning thier first ever AFC Champions League title in 2018.

He has been selected as a team captain since 2020 season. In December 2022, he moved  to CD Santa Clara in Portugal, where he is also expected to work in Europe.

Also, Kento has made his mark on the Japan national team at various youth levels as a central midfielder and a centre back, and played in the FIFA U-17 World Cup 2013 making contribution to the team reaching the last 16.
