Kazuki Kuranuki appointed a new FC Ryukyu head coach
2022/10/28

We are delighted to announce that Kazuki Kuranuki has been appointed as a new FC Ryukyu head coach.

<Kazuki's comments>

“I am pleased to announce that I will be taking over as FC Ryukyu's head coach.

I am very sorry for relegating the club to J3 this season while I was the assistant coach under former head coach Kina and Nacho.

Even in such a situation, the club offered me the position of head coach. I thought a lot about how I would take responsibility for relegating the club, but I decided that I would take responsibility by promoting the team to J2 in one year as head coach.

I believe it is important for FC Ryukyu to show our commitment not only in results, but also in showing the great quality of game, and I would like to play aggressive and attractive football on the pitch, and be happy with our many fans, supporters, and sponsors, and make the whole Okinawa Prefecture excited with football.”

Thank you for your support and encouragement.

<Naoki’s comment>

"Hello Nagoya Grampus supporters, It has been a while.

I have agreed to rejoin to FC Utrecht on loan deal.

It was on January 16th, the day of my debut game in Netherland I suffered a serious injury during the match.

After the injury, I have never been so disoriented in my life.

For seven months since then, I have been rehabbing and training in the Netherlands, while Nagoya Grampus has understood my thoughts and feelings.

During my rehabilitation, I continued to feel anxious, but I received a lot of support, especially from the staff in Utrecht.

The more those days went on, I have a desire to challenge myself here again.

And then, I am very happy to be able to make this announcement today on the last day of the transfer window in the Netherlands,

I thanks to everyone who involved at Grampus for their generosity and understanding.

I will do my best to play in Utrecht, and It will be great if I could make Nagoya Grampus and the Grampus family happy.

I hope you will continue to support Naoki Maeda!"

I can only express my gratitude to the president and other club members, to head coach Kiyama, who was the first to ask me to participate in training, and to the players, who continue to pursue the same goal. <Chisato's comment>

I have signed a management contract with SARCLE Co Ltd.

Atsuto Uchida, who I met at rehab facility and have been in contact with as a fellow athlete, is working with SARCLE, and when I decided to retire, I asked him for advice and that is how I was introduced to SARLCE.

After those 23 years that I had kept running forward since I was 10 year-old, I am excited and nervous about my new life, but I am going to make use of experience that I had gained over the course of my career as an athlete.

In addition to promoting track and field across Japan and training and producing athletes who can break my Japan record and compete at the top level in the world, I will use what I have gained through my track and field career to take on a variety of challenges, including media, to broaden my own horizons and show what a great sport track and field is to as many people as possible.

I will keep running as who I am throughout my second career, so I hope you’ll continue to run along with me.

Masakazu Yoshioka joins Renofa Yamaguchi FC
2021/12/23

We would like to announce that Masakazu Yoshioka has joined Renofa Yamaguchi FC from Avispa Fukuoka on permanent deal.

<Masakazu's comments>

"I have decided to move to Renofa Yamaguchi. I would like to thank everyone involved with Avispa Fukuoka for their support and encouragement in the 2021 season. We were not able to cheer loudly due to the Corona pandemic and the limited access to the stadium, but we were able to break the jinx. Thanks to the great atmosphere you created. Although I did not play in many league matches and did not contribute much to the team's victory, I am happy to have played as a member of Avispa Fukuoka this year. Of course, no one slacks off in practice when they are not a member of the team for match, and we all improve each other. No one is too proud to work hard even when they are active in games. It may sound obvious, but it is really difficult to keep this up for a whole year. Seeing everyone like that, I was able to keep going without becoming corrupt. Each of us supported each other and fought through the year, and we were able to grow as players and as people. I am very proud of the team members who fought with me this year. The atmosphere of the team was very good, and I felt that Avispa Fukuoka is a team that should continue to fight in J1. It is a pity that I cannot play with them, but I am looking forward to the future. I am also happy that I was able to record my first appearance, first goal, and first assist in J1 with Abispa Fukuoka. In particular, I will never forget my first goal in the away game against Cerezo Osaka. I think that goal will always remain in my heart. Lastly, I would like to thank all the fans and supporters for their support during my short one year stay. My only regret is that I didn't have much time to spend with the supporters during this fruitful season. I am sorry that I was not able to observe the practice sessions and provide fan service. However, the supporters who hung up my banners and wearing a scarf  every time, wore the No. 29 uniform to the game, and sent me messages of support on SNS gave me a lot of strength. I will change teams, but I will continue to do my best so that I can show the supporters of Avispa Fukuoka how active I am. Thank you very much for your support."

"I am Masakazu Yoshioka and I will be playing for Renofa Yamaguchi from the 2022 season. I will do my best to contribute to the victory of Renofa Yamaguchi. I will put all the effort I have into achieving the team's goals. I also look forward to sharing many joys with the fans and supporters. Thank you very much for your support."

Although we were able to stay in the Prince League Shikoku, it was a season that made me realize my lack of ability. That's why I decided to leave the club once and take on a new challenge to grow even more than now. Then, I wish I could come back to Tokushima Vortis one day.

I would like to thank the club for their support over the past three and a half years as a player and seven years as a coach. Thank you very much. I would also like to thank all the fans, supporters, and sponsors who have supported me."

"Although it was such a short period of time as 2 months, I have been able to have such a precious time as a part of Gamba Osaka after 24 years since 1997. I cannot thank enough to all the players, team staff, people involved with the team and all the fans and supporters who willingly welcomed me even though the team was facing very difficult time around the end of the season when I joined.

The street to the stadium that I used to go to training every day reminded me of old days and that I have met a number of people at viarious places and have spent amazing time with them. I believe that I was able to have all these experience only because I got to start my career in the football industry at Gamba Osaka. I wanted to take this opportunity to thank everyone once again.

I am going to start a new challenge at Fagiano Okayama. I will bravely take on this challenge like I always do in order to achieve the club's all time goal, to go to J1. I wish Gamba Osaka all the best to get revenge of this year. Thank you very much."

"To all Okayama Fagiano fans and supporters, I’m Takashi Kiyama and I’m delighted to be appointed as a manager.

I am very honoured to coach the team that has been growing dramatically with the local people by their side since being promoted to J2 in 2009.

I have managed four J2 clubs having played against Fagiano Okayama for 17 times in which I experienced myself the City Light Stadium filled with enthusiastic atomosphere that Okayama's supporters created.

Now I can’t wait for leading the team with such amazing supports from all of you, this time on my back.

Our goal is to get promoted to J1. I can assure that we will play aggressively on both attacking and defensive parts of the game, and unite and keep fighting together with all who love Fagiano Okayama.

Let’s go to J1 together!"

Takashi Inui joins Cerezo Osaka
2021/8/31

We would like to announce that Takashi Inui has joined Cerezo Osaka from SD Eibar

<Takashi's comment>

"I'm Takashi Inui, and I've just joined Cerezo Osaka.

I'm sure there will be supporters who are new to me, and I'm looking forward to meeting all the supporters who have been supporting me for a long time! In the last 10 years, I have gained a lot of experience in the Bundesliga, my dream of playing in the Spanish league, and the World Cup in Russia. I've had a lot of experiences in the past 10 years, but I never stop wanting to get better and better at football. I will do my best at Cerezo Osaka to bring the joy of football to the children of Osaka and all over Japan!

As for my number, the club had prepared number 7 for me, and I've been thinking a lot about it.

However, I chose the number 23 because Cerezo Osaka allowed me to challenge overseas when I was 23 years old, and I have a strong desire to come back to this team and start from here again. I also wanted to wear the number because it is the number that my favorite player Yamashita (Tatsuya) used to wear. I am grateful to the club for understanding my desire, and I hope that everyone will welcome the new Takashi Inui.

To all the fans and supporters, I'm back! Please give me your enthusiastic support again!

Masahito's comments

"First of all, I'd like to say thnk you to every member of Montedio Yamagata, then I want to apologize to make such an announcement just one week before the opening game of this season. Last year, I was very happy to get an opportunity to play for Yamagata. I did my best to guide this club to the J1 stage. However, I couldn't help the club much because I was not able to have the playing time much than I expected. Even in that situation, I could finish the last season safely. I believe that I couldn’t do this without the players, coaches, and staffs that I played with, and the fans who supported me all the time. The division in which we will fight is different, but please keep supporting me this season as well. Lastly, I was so proud of myself playing for such a great club, Montedio Yamagata . Thank you."

"I'm Onoda Masahito and this time I joined IWATE GRULLA MORIOKA from Montedio Yamagata on permanent transfer. Please call me Masa or Ono. First of all, I would like to express my gratitude to IWATE GRULLA MORIOKA’s members for the new environment and opportunities for new challenges. It's my first time playing in the J3 division, but I believe that I can grow up with my teammates without any hesitations, and I’d like to lead this club to win the J3 league and promoting J2 without any injury this season. Lastly, I’m looking forward to meeting our fans at the stadium as soon as possible, and I also hope we could share the great moment at the stadium together."
