We would like to announce that Yusei Egawa has joined V-Varen Nagasaki from Gamba Osaka.

“I’m pleased to announce that I’ve joined V-Varen Nagasaki on a permanent transfer from Gamba Osaka. To everyone—hello again, it’s been a while. I’m truly happy to return and play once more for the club that helped shape me. At the same time, I fully understand the weight of responsibility that comes with wearing this emblem again. Playing here in Nagasaki holds a very special meaning for me, which is why I’ve come back with strong determination and a clear purpose. Now that I’m returning with a different role and new experiences compared to my previous time here, I’ll do my best to integrate into the team as quickly as possible and give everything I have on the pitch to help achieve our goal of promotion to J1. I will fight with all my heart so we can share the joy of success once again with everyone involved with V-Varen Nagasaki. Thank you for your continued support!"

"I’ve joined V-Varen Nagasaki on a permanent transfer. During my two and a half years at Gamba Osaka, I went through some difficult times, especially dealing with a serious injury that made it hard for me to get playing time. Still, I have absolutely no regrets about my decision to join Gamba. It’s been an honor to fight alongside such a fantastic club—with amazing teammates, staff, and passionate fans and supporters. Although I’ll be playing in a different league now, I’ll always continue to support Gamba Osaka. I’ll do my best in Nagasaki to deliver strong results and help the team earn promotion to J1.
