We would like to announce that Chihiro Kato has joined Mito HollyHock from Montedio Yamagata.

Chihiro’s comment for Montedio Yamagata
“I’ve decided to join to Mito Hollyhock. To be honest, I really struggled with this decision, especially making a move at this point in the season. But in the end, I chose this path because I want to keep growing as a player. It’s been about a year and a half since I joined this club, and to be honest, there were more tough times than good ones. I deeply regret not being able to contribute more on the pitch. Even so, I can’t thank the supporters enough for continuing to stand by me through it all. I’ll never forget the view from behind the goal after a win, and singing “Blues” together with all of you—that’s a memory I’ll carry with me forever. I’ve truly come to love Yamagata. I'm also sincerely grateful to the club for respecting my decision to leave mid-season.
I believe this team will continue to climb higher, and I’ll be doing everything I can in my new club to make sure I don’t fall behind.
