Ueda’s comment on Games of the XXXII Olympiad (Tokyo 2020)
“I feel a sense of responsibility and expectation to be selected as a member of the team to compete in the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games in my home country, as well as the thoughts of my teammates who could not participated in the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games even we fought together. What I can do is to do my best on the pitch, then I will show my great performance that I have cultivated at the club. I will always think about what kind of things my team required me on the pitch and I will express it on the pitch to win the match over in the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games"
